Currently, I am a system engineer for a healthcare organization. I have previously worked as a sysadmin/consultant/architect/whatever else I was tapped to do for a small MSP.
My primary responsibilities are currently Unix and Linux administration, but I also manage Windows systems, I’m very interested in security, and I’ve dabbled in basically everything else (everything from storage array sizing and deployments, VMware implementations, some VERY light development work, automation, monitoring…you name it, I’ve probably had some experience with it).
I wanted to start writing for two reasons. First – I’m very opinionated when it comes to technology, so I feel I should force my ramblings on others. Second – I want to document some of the things I’ve done, both for my future self and for others who have found themselves stuck on the same problems I’ve had.
